Review the important key dates for your Lithia & Driveway HSA, FSA, and Commuter Benefit plan transition to Fidelity. Watch for updates from Fidelity and your Benefits team with reminders on next steps.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

December 2025

You will receive communications from Fidelity detailing how to activate your Fidelity HSA online through NetBenefits® at netbenefits.com, request additional debit cards, invest your balance, and designate beneficiaries (any current HSA investment elections and beneficiary designations will not carry over from WEX to Fidelity).

Your new debit card is expected to ship to your home address on file (if you promptly opened your HSA) by late December 2025. If you also elected the Dependent Care FSA, you will use the same debit card.

January 5 - January 16, 2026

To participate in the bulk transfer, log on to netbenefits.com and navigate to the Health Savings Account section on the homepage and follow the steps to complete the bulk transfer form.

As a reminder, Lithia & Driveway will cover any fees associated with the transfer. If you don't participate in the bulk transfer, you will begin incurring monthly service fees for any balance with WEX.

January 2026

Your contributions will be deposited into your Fidelity HSA, beginning with your first paycheck received in January 2026.

February 1, 2026 by 4 p.m. ET

If you select the bulk transfer, you must liquidate any HSA investments and turn off any automatic investing at WEX at benefitslogin.wexhealth.com or by calling 866-451-3399.

Important: If you do not liquidate your investments and turn off automatic investing, WEX will do this on your behalf as part of the bulk transfer process.

Liquidating your investments may take 2-3 business days, so do not wait until the last day to complete this step.

February 2 - March 6, 2026

The bulk transfer blackout period begins. You will no longer have access to your WEX HSA. You can use your debit card from Fidelity to pay for qualified medical expenses with any funds that are in your Fidelity HSA during the bulk transfer blackout period.

If you do not have enough funds in your Fidelity HSA to cover an expense, you can pay the expense out of pocket, save your receipt and submit for reimbursement after the group transfer blackout period is complete.

Important: Please do not use your WEX HSA debit card during the blackout period as the charge will be declined.

Mid-March 2026

The bulk transfer blackout period is expected to be complete, and your WEX HSA balance will be available in your Fidelity HSA. A notification will be sent to your email address once the transfer is complete and you have access to your funds.

This bulk transfer will not be considered a taxable event and will not be reported to the IRS, though you are encouraged to review applicable rules for your state and consult with a tax advisor.
