Monday, November 3, 2025-
Friday, November 13, 2025

Visit your USNH Workday account.Enroll in an HSA-eligible health plan and open your Fidelity HSA during Open Enrollment. Important: You must open an HSA in order to contribute and receive the USNH company contribution.

Monday, November 3, 2025-
Friday, November 21, 2025

You can elect to participate in a group transfer to have your HSA Bank HSA moved to Fidelity. You can make this election during the open enrollment through your USNH Workday account or by visiting HSA Bank directly at HSABank.com.

December 2025

After your account is open, you will receive communications from Fidelity Investments® outlining the steps to activate your Fidelity HSA through netbenefits.com. This will help ensure that you have access to all features of your Fidelity HSA, such as choosing investments, designating beneficiaries and ordering additional debit cards.

Late December 2025

Your new debit card is expected to ship to your home address on file (if you promptly opened your HSA). 

January 2026

Your contributions will be deposited into your Fidelity HSA, beginning with your first paycheck received in January 2026.

Wednesday, January 7, 2026, 
by 4 p.m. Eastern Time

If you select the group transfer, you must liquidate any HSA investments and turn off any automatic investing at HSA Bank at HSABank.com or by calling 800-357-6246.

Important: If you do not liquidate your investments and turn off automatic investing, HSA Bank will do this for you.

Wednesday, January 14, 2026,  The group transfer blackout period begins. If you consented to have your HSA Bank balance moved as part of the group transfer, you will no longer have access to your HSA Bank HSA. Be sure to consider any transactions you may want to make with your HSA Bank account before Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

You can use your debit card from Fidelity to pay for qualified medical expenses with any funds that are already in your Fidelity HSA during the group transfer blackout period.

If you do not have enough funds in your Fidelity HSA to cover an expense, you can pay the expense out of pocket, save your receipt and submit for reimbursement after the group transfer blackout period is completed during the week of Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Important: Please do not use your HSA Bank HSA debit card during the blackout period as the charge will be declined. 

  

Thursday, February 5, 2026

The group transfer blackout period is expected to be complete, and your HSA Bank HSA balance will be available in your Fidelity HSA. A notification will be sent to your email address once the transfer is complete and you have access to your funds.

This group transfer will not be considered a taxable event and will not be reported to the IRS, though you are encouraged to review applicable rules for your state and consult with a tax advisor.

Beginning Monday, February 9, 2026

If you do not choose to transfer your HSA Bank balance to Fidelity, HSA Bank will deduct an administrative fee of $3 per month from your account.
