If you select the group transfer, you must liquidate any HSA investments and turn off any automatic investing at HealthEquity by calling 866-346-5800 .

Important: If you do not liquidate your investments and turn off automatic investing, your balance will not transfer to Fidelity.

March 6, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET Be sure to consider any transactions you may want to make with your HealthEquity account before March 6, 2026, which is the last day you can use your HealthEquity HSA debit card.

March 9, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET

The group transfer blackout period begins. If you consented to have your HealthEquity balance moved as part of the group transfer, you will no longer have access to your HealthEquity HSA.

You can use your debit card from Fidelity to pay for qualified medical expenses with any funds that are already in your Fidelity HSA during the group transfer blackout period.

If you do not have enough funds in your Fidelity HSA to cover an expense, you can pay the expense out of pocket, save your receipt and submit for reimbursement after the group transfer blackout period is completed on March 18, 2026.

Important: Please do not use your HealthEquity HSA debit card during the blackout period as the charge will be declined.

March 18, 2026

The group transfer blackout period is expected to be complete, and your HealthEquity HSA balance will be available in your Fidelity HSA. A notification will be sent to your email address once the transfer is complete and you have access to your funds.

This group transfer will not be considered a taxable event and will not be reported to the IRS, though you are encouraged to review applicable rules for your state and consult with a tax advisor.

Beginning April 2026

If you do not choose to transfer your HealthEquity balance to Fidelity, HealthEquity will deduct an administrative fee of $3.95 per month from your account.
